So, it's now January and it seems that I have some catching up to do on the blog here...so, we'll start with Thanksgiving. Every year the Pittmans travel to Houston for Thanksgiving since we prefer to be in our own home for Christmas traditions with the girls. Every Thanksgiving, Gran (my mom) gets very excited about the "photo ops"...specifically the one for her Christmas card! Somehow, we are able to get everyone together on the patio...all seven grandkids and take a decent picture, thanks to Jan and Jerry behind the camera! Seven? How in the world did that happen? Seems like just yesterday that Anna and Charlie were the only little ones...how time flies. The only words to describe our Thanksgiving visit in Houston is that of "happy chaos". It was a lot of fun...the kids got along great...lots of "moving parts" as my dad says! The day after Thanksgiving, Chris and David took the kids bowling and what fun they had...Jennifer and I (and Andrew) had a chance to just hang out in the peace and quiet...it was great...thanks dads! This will become an annual event!
Happy Thanksgiving! We have many things to be thankful for and feel very blessed.
