Twice a year, the Y Indian Princess group heads out for their campout. It's a great weekend of father/daughter bonding through activities of horseback riding, hiking, fishing, archery, swimming, etc. It's a sweet group of girls and so fun to see the pictures when they return...the girls lined up with arms around each other with big smiles.
Chris is pretty much the "tough guy" in the group. (The other dads do not seem to be really skilled in the outdoors....seem to do better in the city!) He loads our grill into the back of the truck and is usually the "cook" for the weekend...steaks for dads, hot dogs for the girls. All in all, they have a great time and come back completely exhausted....gee, thanks. Anna really enjoys horseback riding and is pretty skilled at fishing and archery. I think her experiences at the ranch with daddy prepare her for the weekend. She really enjoys it. I'll post pics later. Of course, the campout provides other "pleasantries" such as sitings of scorpions and tarantulas (IN THE CABINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Yikes.
Well, they load up and head back on Mother's Day leaving all the "pleasantries" behind.........OR DID THEY?????
