VBS - Grace Presbyterian Church~ 2009

Several months ago, my mom somehow talked me into bringing the girls to Houston for VBS at Grace Presbyterian Church. What fun it would be to have the cousins do it together! She even sent us the CD of the VBS music so we could "Get in the Game" and know the music before coming. Sure enough, Charlie and Will, Anna and Lauren had a blast doing VBS together. Mom and I taught Lauren and Will's class and enjoyed the week with all 12 of them....exhausting to say the least. But, by the end of the week...it was neat to see the kids singing the songs, teaching each other the motions, etc. Charlie and Anna were in different classes but saw each other in passing during the day and learned the same things. Mom and I entertained the boys each day afterwards before taking them home to Teresa (aka TaTa). Lunch....swimming, etc. They all got along great and really seemed to enjoy being together. On the last day of VBS, I picked up the boys with Shipley's donut holes in hand...the kids had a great time eating donuts on the way to their last day of VBS! They were all "wired" before arriving...oh joy! :)

By the end of the week, dad was calling Gran..."super-Gran"....there was no stopping her. There's nothing she wouldn't do for the grandkids. Thanks Gran for all you did for us last week. We really appreciate it! We look forward to attending VBS at Grace again next year. Thinking it might become tradition! :)
